Every Level 2 qualification that WSET offers is designed to serve someone who is relatively new to the beverage industry and/or the category being covered. Level 2 is delivered as an introductory course and, in common with Level 1. However, there are key differences. The student is exposed to a much greater body of information and they get to taste a significantly larger number of samples. Furthermore, there is a requirement for private study and students need to take responsibility for their own learning, most of which is unavoidably factual in nature.
