IKIGAI-SHU took part in the amazing event organized by ASICS EMEA and SHOPFRAME FZ LLC to launch a new The GEL-LYTE® V sneaker from the OCHA ZOME™ Collection which draws inspiration from traditional Japanese tea ceremony. For the upper cotton part of sneaker is used a dye extract from matcha production! Great example of #sustainability!
During the workshop, the guests learned about the key steps of matcha farming that determines the tea’s quality, and had a chance to prepare usucha using Fuji No Haru matcha. Matcha DIY Workshop by IKIGAI-SHU was an amazing opportunity to explore and practice the art of making matcha.
